MONTREAL—Knowlton Development Corporation (KDC)—a contract manufacturer and custom formulator for the consumer goods industry in Canada and internationally offering personal cleansing, body and facial care, fragrance, men’s grooming, hair care and styling, and household care products—is widening its footprint in to the U.S., acquiring Northern Labs Inc. of Manitowoc, Wisc.
Northern Labs also manufactures personal care products from its 275,000-square-foot plant with some 200 employees, and provides KDC with a chance to move into the packaged home and industrial products sectors.
With the closure of the deal, KDC will expand its footprint across Canada and the U.S.
KDC is considered to be the premier contract manufacturer and custom formulator of personal care products, trusted by the world’s best-known brands, specifically known as a leading antiperspirant and deodorant manufacturer.
