Corral to represent new KBA corrugated product line, a corrugated sheetfed flexo press for large-format corrugated board printing and die-cutting.
With its announcement last year of its return to the sheetfed flexo market for corrugated, KBA North America has named Martin Corall as its sales manager for its new corrugated product line.
Corall began his new position in early May 2017 and reports to vice-president of web and specialty presses Jeff Dietz.
“KBA North America was recently named to handle the sales, parts, and service for the sheetfed flexo market for corrugated,” says KBA North America president and chief executive officer Mark Hischar. “Ever since we built our first KBA Corrugraph flexo presses, we’ve had extremely satisfied users. We’ve seen very good prospects after our successful return to this large market with a new generation of Corrugated flexo presses. We’re now expanding into this market and have tapped Martin to represent us throughout the North America. He has in-depth industry knowledge and is well-connected and well-respected with potential customers so we are excited to have him on board to help us develop this important growing market.”
Corall joins KBA as a seasoned veteran with 28 years of sales experience in the industry working in North America as well as Europe for a variety of leading corrugated press manufacturing companies. In his most previous position with a leading corrugated press manufacturer, Corall focused on the high-end graphics side of the corrugated board market managing the very successful introduction of a new machine in the U.S.
“I look forward to representing KBA in the corrugated market,” says Corall. “KBA has a fine reputation as a leading manufacturer and has a depth of resources including its North American presence with its service team. There is so much growth potential in the corrugated market.
“My job is to talk to potential customers about their complete process and how they can do more with less by investing in the KBA Corrugated sheetfed flexo press, a high-performance press for large-format corrugated board printing and die-cutting. It unites robust press engineering, cutting-edge electronics and intelligent automation making it a top-performance production tool. I’ll be highlighting its maximum flexibility, print quality, user-friendliness and ease of maintenance. There’s definitely growth potential for high-end graphic printing on corrugated board along with more efficiency and productivity,” Corral explains.
