Multi-Color Corporation acquires healthcare label specialist New Era Packaging.

Cincinnati, OH—Multi-Color Corporation (MCC) is pleased to announce the 100 per cent acquisition of New Era Packaging effective February 2, 2015.

Based near Dublin, Ireland, New Era Packaging specializes in labels for the healthcare, pharmaceutical and food industries with annual revenues of approx. €12-million (Cdn $17.2-million).

This acquisition creates a greater focus on the growing healthcare label market. New Era joint managing director John Peat and the management team will continue to run the business and operate from their current facility.

MCC president and chief executive officer Nigel Vinecombe states, “We are excited to have John and team join us. We supply the Healthcare label market in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Poland and see Europe as a large market we can develop, especially with the expertise from New Era.”
