Holly Poultry constructing new processing plant in Baltimore
New facility to create 100 new jobs.
Holly Poultry, a Baltimore, MD-based meats processor is constructing a brand new 37,500-square-foot poultry processing plant to be completed by January of 2017. The USDA-inspected facility will open up 100 new jobs.
The new plant will allow the meats processor to separate its poultry business from its wholesale distribution operations of pork, beef, poultry and more.
The current facility has 180 employees, all of whom will move to the new plant, that will feature a new test kitchen as well as new processing equipment such as conveyors and more for marinating, sizing and deboning.
After the new facility is operational, the old plant will be converted to house the wholesale commodity division of Holly Poultry.
