Fortress Technology expands Brazil operations
In order to meet production demands in Latin America, Fortress has moved to a larger facility for its operations and manufacturing capacity in Brazil.
Fortress Technology, a global leader in manufacturing custom metal detectors, is pleased to announce the January 2015 move of their Brazilian manufacturing and sales office to a larger facility to meet production demands for Latin America.
Business has increased dramatically for Fortress in Brazil. A move in June 2012 into a 13,000-square-foot facility was quickly outgrown in only two years.
“We are very pleased about the unprecedented growth we’ve achieved in such a short time and the support from our customers. This new 33,000-square-foot facility will continue to support us in becoming the preferred source of metal detection solutions in Brazil, and Latin America. We look forward to challenge of outgrowing this facility, while continuing to exceed the expectations of our customers,” says Pierre DiGirolamo, executive director of the Fortress Technology Brazilian operations.
Fortress Technology has been custom manufacturing metal detection solutions in Brazil since 2005 for the food, beverage and manufacturing industries. The new 33,000-square-foot facility located in Vila Rosina, Caieiras, São Paulo will dramatically increase the manufacturing capacity in response to customer demand and the growth its clients are experiencing in the region.
Fortress Technology began in 1996 believing that through superior product design and engineering the production of higher quality equipment with better sensitivities could be achieved. The phenomenal market response to Fortress’s metal detectors has validated that belief and the philosophy on which it is based… simple operation, outstanding reliability, and exceptional performance.
Fortress has become a global enterprise with offices in Canada, the UK, and Brazil serving North America, Europe, and Latin America.
