Ontario, Oct. 12, 2022 – MULTIVAC Canada is pleased to announce exclusive partnership agreements with Slicetech and Metalquimia. Slicetech, based out of Rio Do Sul, Brazil, manufactures slicers suitable for small to medium sized producers. Metalquimia, based in Girona, Spain, is a leader in the manufacturing of injectors, massagers, whole muscle stuffers and a variety of cooking, defrosting and tenderizing equipment. MULTIVAC Canada will have exclusivity for the sale and support of these equipment ranges across the whole of Canada, commencing Oct. 14, 2022.

The addition of the Slicetech slicers to MULTIVAC Canada’s portfolio extends the reach of the company into processing of many items including bacon, deli, dairy and plant-based products. In conjunction with the larger MULTIVAC slicers already on offer, these machines will complete our slicer lineup with solutions for all sizes of producers. Ranging from simple manual machines to fully automatic systems, these slicers can fully integrate with our Multivac packaging equipment.

Slicetech was founded in 2004 with the purpose of developing customized equipment for their customers. Initially specializing in machines for cheese slicing and interleaving, their product lineup has grown significantly to include a full range of slicers that can be completely customized to a variety of different applications.

Metalquimia provides MULTIVAC Canada and its customers with the opportunity to access highly specialized machinery for the manufacturing of cooked, marinated and cured meat products, including clean label. Their equipment lineup includes versatile, highly automated, hygienic and safe production lines designed to reduce costs and improve yield. As a reputable international brand with a presence in over 90 countries, this partnership will allow our customers to access top-of-the-line equipment from a world-class provider.
