Domino North America earns President’s Award from Brother Industries
Domino North America has been awarded with the coveted President’s Award from Brother Industries.
Robert Pulford, CEO of Domino says, “I’m delighted to announce that of the three awards made by the Brother Group, one has been awarded to our teams in US and Canada, both C&M (Coding & Marking) and DP (Digital Printing).”
The three companies selected by Brother to receive FY2020 President’s Awards are Brother International Corporation USA HAD (Home Appliance Division), Brother Italia S.r.l, and Domino North America. The President’s Award signifies companies that have achieved “outstanding performance” and “outstanding operations”.
Ichiro Sasaki, Representative Director & President at Brother Industries, Ltd says, “The commonality of the award-winning companies is that they quickly and flexibly responded to environmental changes and changed their operations. They made efforts and took on challenges to quickly identify changes in social needs due to the impacts of the coronavirus and to further enhance customer satisfaction and customer experience value. Congratulations to the winning companies. Thank you for creating an outstanding operation.”
In selecting Domino North America for the President’s Award, key elements that factored into the decision included successful implementation & significant growth of customer and employee-focused programs, and achieving records in both sales and profits.
Domino has introduced NPS (Net Promoter Score) to continue strengthening efforts to improve customer satisfaction, and actively investing in staff and helpdesk personnel who have direct contact with customers. In addition, Domino has implemented eNPS (Employee Net Promoter Score), in which employees are surveyed every three months. The concept built around eNPS is to measure employee loyalty. NPS and eNPS go hand-in-hand because generally, employees who are happy and loyal go above and beyond to provide exceptional service to keep customers happy and improve customer satisfaction.
Pulford says of Domino North America, “Commercially, our Coding & Marking team had an outstanding year in FY20, breaking both sales and profit records for the business, including record CIJ printer sales and several major project wins. The business has adopted tools and processes in both sales and service to systematically improve performance and has also helped to push the Group to improve in these areas. In Digital Printing, the team has an enviable track record of growth over the past five years, having developed strong brand recognition and supported by a highly regarded service organization. This trend continued last year with another year of both sales and profit records, including pioneering work around virtual demonstrations to keep customers engaged during the pandemic. Our teams in US/Canada have shown a commitment, not just to commercial results, but to the underlying programs around Customers and People which support our future ambitions.”
