New Bear Paws and Wagon Wheels with Wowbutter are peanut-free snacks are perfect for school, after school activities or anywhere on the go.

KITCHENER, ON—Just in time for back-to-school season, Dare Foods Limited has introduced new peanut-free snacks to make lunch tastier for kids and easier for parents.

Dare Bear Paws Morning Snack Wowbutter and Strawberries, Bear Paws Minis Chocolate Chip & Wowbutter, and Wagon Wheels Wowbutter deliver the great taste of peanut butter kids love, using a toasted soy spread called Wowbutter.

Like all Bear Paws and Wagon Wheels snacks, the new Bear Paws and Wagon Wheels with Wowbutter are made in Dare’s nut-free and peanut-free Canadian facility. The cookies contain protein and support Dare Foods’ Made Better promise – a family commitment to providing delicious, better-for-you snacks.

“We understand how tough it can be to find a good variety of peanut-free school snacks kids can enjoy,” says Dare Foods Limited senior director of marketing Kelly McInenly.

“At Dare, we are committed to creating products that not only taste great but are more nutritious and safe for kids to eat. Each Bear Paws and Wagon Wheels pouch features a peanut free logo so parents and teachers can rest assured they’re perfect for school lunchboxes,” McInenly adds.

While there is no official word on if it will stick to the roof of your mouth, bringing the peanut butter taste back to school via Wowbutter sounds like a smart idea.

Dare worked Toronto-based packaging and branding firm Marovino Visual Strategy to develop the strategy and look for the Bear Paws and Wagon Wheels packaging, while Schawk!, the global brand production and deployment company was also involved in the design adaptations and pre-press.
