KITCHENER, ON—Dare Foods Limited has introduced a new way for consumers to indulge their sweet tooth in a better way with Dare Candy Co. REALFRUIT Berries and REALFRUIT Chews.
Now available, all REALFRUIT products are made with real fruit juice, natural fruit flavors and no added colors and contain no gluten, making them a great choice for guilt-free snacking.
REALFRUIT Chews are individually wrapped making them the perfect on-the-go snack. Each candy comes individually packed in a wax paper wrapper, twisted at each end and packed in a larger white plastic film outer package with colorful graphics on the front showing examples of the candies and the different fruits contained within each.
REALFRUIT Berries are also gelatin-free offering a tasty alternative for those looking to avoid animal gelatin in their diet. The naturally-flavored candies are not individually wrapped, but come in a package style similar to the REALFRUIT Chews.
Dare has also re-packaged and released its REALFRUIT Gummies candies in the same format as the REALFRUIT Berries.
The launch of REALFRUIT Berries and REALFRUIT Chews helps bring to life the ‘Dare Foods Made Better’ promise, which is dedicated to providing delicious and better-for-you snacks by using the very best ingredients and taking inspiration from consumer needs. These new treats demonstrate that great tasting candy can be made better.

The new REALFRUIT Berries 160-gram bag, REALFRUIT Chews 140-g bag, and the REALFRUIT Gummies 180-g bag are available at major grocery and mass merchandise stores across Canada.
Working to develop and roll out the REALFRUIT graphic re-design, Dare Candy Co. worked with: Toronto-based packaging and branding firm Marovino Visual Strategy on design; Schawk!, global brand production and deployment company with offices around the world, performing pre-press strategies; and Prolamina, a Quebec manufacturer of flexible packaging solutions as its printer.
