The final CPMA convention and trade show in Calgary was a rousing success with 2,500+ fruits and vegetable representatives in attendance.

The Canadian Produce Marketing Association’s 91st Annual Convention & Trade Show in Calgary was a great success, with over 2,500 representatives from across the fresh fruit and vegetable supply chain in attendance.
This was the CPMA’s final trade show in Calgary, and attracted a vast new audience including local chefs, restaurateurs, and floral. Representatives from 18 different countries were in attendance, demonstrating the international flavor of the industry.

Peak of the Market was recognized for their exceptionally creative booth (see image at very top).
Highline Mushrooms took home the Best New Product Award, Mucci took home the first ever Freggie Approved Product Award – see below.
At the event, the CPMA recognized BCfresh with the 2016 Fresh Health Award to acknowledge their active participation in promoting the Half Your Plate program.
BCfresh has integrated the Half Your Plate logo and messaging into all of their marketing efforts, including their packaging, social media, videos, and website. Their use of the Half Your Plate branding is reaching millions of consumers across Canada through retail point of sale items and marketing.
