
Avanti Computer Systems acquired by Ricoh

Ricoh has acquired Toronto-based Avanti Computer Systems, a leading developer of management information systems for the printing industry.
With it’s Canadian headquarters in Toronto, Ricoh Company, Limited is a Japanese multinational imaging and electronics company with its global headquarters in Tokyo.
The acquisition of Avanti began in ernest in 2013 after Ricoh invested Avanti as it was launching its Avanti Slingshot system. Obviously, Ricoh liked what it saw.
For Ricoh, it will continue to advance the solutions offered by Avanti to help both companies improve efficiencies with its customers, including growing its Ricoh Pro Series and growing the Avanti brand in the global marketplace.
In 2014, Ricoh acquired MarcomCentral (formerly known as PTI Marketing Technologies) to better improve web to print.
