Joint partnership between television icon Oprah and Kraft Heinz for ready-to-eat meals to also benefit charities.

The Kraft Heinz Company and television talkshow host Oprah have formed a partnership to create a new line of refrigerated ready-to-eat meals, with part of the proceeds going to charities that combat hunger.

The Pittsburgh-based Kraft Heinz will develop, manufacturing and marketing the new Mealtime Stories line of foods to be available in grocery stores—but further details are vague at this time.

It is expected that the brand will be released during 2017, and will cover “several food categories” but no details were released regarding what main ingredients will be contained within Mealtime Stories.

A press release indicates that 10 per cent of all profits from Mealtime Stories sales will go to charities “aimed at eradicating hunger.”
