Baldwin adds to sales team

John Favat joins Baldwin America.
John S. Favat has joined the Baldwin Americas team as the aftermarket sales executive – Northeast Region covering NJ, NY, New England and Eastern Canada.
Baldwin, headquarterdd in St. Louis, MO., is a leading international supplier of process automation equipment and related consumables for the print industry. Newspaper, sheetfed, commercial web, flexographic and digital pressrooms are enhanced and transformed with Baldwin’s extensive product lines and systems.
Most recently Favat was the vice-president of sales and marketing and co-founder of The Institute for Media Convergence, a non-profit 501 organization focused on management consulting for the commercial print and packaging industries.
Prior to starting TIFMC, Favat was the publisher of American Printer, Graphic Arts Product News and Prepress LINKS magazines for Maclean Hunter Publishing Company, and owner, founder and publisher of Binding, Finishing & Distribution (BF&D) magazine.
Favat is an Eagle Scout and has spent the past 33 years volunteering in different capacities for the Boy Scouts of America. He also is a USSF/FIFA certified soccer referee.
