Some 1,250- pounds of meat and poultry-based pizza products processed by Toronto’s RFG Canada Inc. have been recalled over a failure to inspect upon entry into the U.S.

The products in question are:

  • 30.3 oz. packages of Weis Self-Rising Pizza; Chicken Bacon Ranch containing UPC code 041497028337, Canada Establishment 411 and a best-before date of May 16 2017. Produced in Toronto on March 3, 2016;

The goods were not presented to the U.S. Food Safety and Inspection Services (FSIS) for re-inspection into America.

There are no reports of any sort of negative reaction from eating these products, but without the inspection there can be no guarantee.

The products were shipped to U.S. locations in Maryland, Pennsylvania and New York.
