RESTON, Va.—More than 210 members of PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, will showcase global processing and packaging machinery solutions at interpack 2017 in Düsseldorf, Germany, May 4–10, 2017.

A tri-annual international trade fair for packaging and related processing industries, interpack serves the food, beverage, confectionery, bakery, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, non-food and industrial goods sectors, exposing all levels of the supply chain to tailored solutions and new innovations.

“PMMI members are globally renowned for making the highest quality equipment, offering flexibility, reliability, quick changeover technology and responsive service,” says PMMI president and chief executive officer Charles D. Yuska. “They are committed to meeting their customers’ needs.”

The PMMI booth (Hall 12; Stand F01) will provide consumer packaged goods companies and other interpack attendees with free pocket guides providing information on PMMI member companies exhibiting at interpack 2017. The pocket guide lists PMMI members exhibiting at interpack alphabetically, cross-referenced by the type of machinery they produce.

“As a central location for information about the North American market, we encourage all attendees to visit the PMMI booth,” says OMMI vice-president of market development Jorge Izquierdo. “Not only will you receive the guide and member map, but you will have the opportunity to learn more about all of PMMI’s offerings, including our trade shows, PMMI Media Group and business drivers like PMMI Business Intelligence, which produces market research reports that provide insight and information not available anywhere else.”

At interpack 2017, PMMI’s Business Intelligence will release the 2017 Global Packaging Trends report, produced by Euromonitor and sponsored by leading packaging associations PMMI, Australian Packaging and Processing Machinery Association, Italian Manufacturers of Automatic Packing and Packaging Machinery, and the Processing & Packaging Machinery Trade Association. This report explores key trends driving packaging innovations such as increasing awareness of health and wellness and growing concerns about environmental impact while identifying hot spots for packaging growth in all regions of the world.

“No matter what challenge your company is facing, PMMI members can create a solution that works within your budget and time-frame,” Yuska says. “Our trade shows are a great source of the latest global packaging innovations, while our print and online publications keep the industry informed of the latest innovations, trends and solutions year-round.”

Another great opportunity to connect with PMMI member companies is September 25–27, 2017 at PACK EXPO Las Vegas 2017.
