PAC Free Webinar: Food Waste And The Role Of Packaging

Packaging socialists to discuss challenges of food security, food waste, recycling, charity efforts and more.

Food waste and the role of packaging highlights the important intersect between the PAC FOOD WASTE and PAC NEXT programs.

It brings focus to the challenges of engaging consumers in reducing food waste, preserving and protecting food, investing in affordable packaging innovation and designing packaging for recovery and recycling.

Panelists are the PAC FOOD WASTE co-chairs:

  • Yasmin Siddiqi of DuPont, who will talk about Food Security and the Role of Packaging;
  • Ron Cotterman, Sealed Air, who will share his thoughts on Food Waste and Consumer Insights, and;
  • Scott Tudor, Sobeys who will focus on the axis of Shelf Life, Costs, Recyclability and the need for collaboration between retailers and other stakeholders such as food banks, manufacturers and community organizations.

PAC Food Waste is a key component of PAC, The Packaging Consortium. The event is facilitated by Alan Blake and Rachel Morier.
