On June 19, 2013 at Conestoga College in Cambridge, Ont., the Canadian German Chamber of Industry and Commerce Inc. sponsored a full day’s conference on Machinery Made in German – Innovation in Food Processing & Packaging.
The event offered poignant presentations and discussions on German engineering and machinery as it relates to the food processing and packaging industries, and featured such participating companies as: Multivac, Astor, Gustav Obermayer, Meypack, Rewinkel & Woesner, Stambera, Festo, Krones, Schubert Packaging, Schmalz Vacuum Technology, and Woltersdorf.
The conference was part of the delegation of German machinery manufacturers to Canada from June 18-21, 2013 and was organized by the Canadian German Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Toronto on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.
The delegation program provides an opportunity to form new business relationships with Canadian companies through match-making as well as the conference which serves as a platform for all participating companies from Germany to display new trends and innovation that are made in Germany.
