On November 4, 2015, at the Mississauga Convention Centre, Canadian Packaging magazine held its third annual Top 50 Packaging Ideas Expo.
With 40 top-notch exhibitors showcasing their brands and technologies, the busy one-day tabletop expo was once again a big hit with both exhibitors and visitors looking for ideas on how to move their products and brands to that next level.
Of the packaging innovations presented at this year’s show, the most innovative—as voted by the show’s visitors and fellow exhibitors—is the standalone banding technology—Bandall—presented by Banding Systems, the Canadian distributor of this cost-efficient packaging solution.
The Bandall solution bundles a product, applying a printed band over a pre-wrapped pack, providing a clear view of the product while applying branding data featuring product information, promotional text, ingredients, nutritional information, best-before date—or anything else a brand owner might need.

Meb Gilani of Sparks Egg Farms was the winner of an Apple Sport Watch, chosen after the ballot was chosen in a second draw that featured only the people who voted for Banding Systems.
