Wolfertschwenden, Germany—On February 4-6, 2015, at the Fruit Logistica tradeshow in Berlin, Germany, MULTIVAC will be present its new packaging and labeling solutions for fruit and vegetable products.
Producers and packing companies, exporters and importers, as well as wholesalers and retailers, will be able to get information on Stand D-05 in Hall 3.1 about the machines and technology, which MULTIVAC has specifically developed for the requirements of small- to medium-sized specialist companies in the fruit and vegetable sector.
Four machines will showcase the MULTIVAC presence at the show:
- The T 300 traysealer for the automatic packing of all types of fruit and vegetables;
- The R 105 thermoforming packaging machine for the production of vacuum packs and modified atmosphere packs (MAP);
- The C 300 single-chamber machine for the packing of salads, dried fruits and nuts in film pouches (see image at top);
- The L 300 conveyor belt labeler for the labeling of a wide range of pack shapes
T 300 traysealer: efficient and cost-effective
Thanks to its simple operation, the T 300 traysealer facilitates the entry into automatic packing with trays. The operation of the T 300 is also very sparing with resources: its electric lifting unit reduces power consumption significantly, while the servo-operated lifting unit used can also be controlled more precisely than those operated with compressed air.
R 105 thermoforming packaging machine: space-saving and reliable
As an entry-level model for the production of small to medium batch sizes, the R 105 thermoforming packaging machine is characterized by its excellent price-performance ratio. The R 105 is suitable for the production of both vacuum packs and modified atmosphere packs (MAP), in which fruit, salads and vegetables remain fresh and crisp over a long period of time.
C 300 single-chamber machine: precise and gentle
The automatic and progressive ventilation of the compact C 300 single-chamber machine enables delicate products such as salads, nuts and dried fruits to be packed very gently. The memory space for 29 programs allows many different recipes to be saved.

L 300 conveyor belt labeller: multifaceted and precise
With its L 300 labeler, MULTIVAC Marking & Inspection will be presenting its latest generation of label dispensers. The integrated control and drive electronics with servo technology allow exact positioning of the labels. Its modular construction makes it easy to adapt to the requirements of a wide range of sectors and pack shapes: the L 300 is equally as suitable for the accurate labeling of thermoformed packs and trays as it is for pots or jars.
All machine models are characterized by their simple operation and groundbreaking MULTIVAC Hygienic Design. As part of their high-quality and durable stainless steel construction, there is avoidance of all recesses, corners and edges, in which residual contamination could be deposited, which means that cleaning water can drain away freely. This has a very positive effect on pack safety and therefore on the shelf life of the fruit and vegetable products.
