New offerings help make parts ordering easier and more efficient.

HOLLAND, Michigan—Fogg Filler, a market leader in the design and manufacture of rotary filling systems for the liquids industry, is continually focused on improving technology that better serves its customers and the environment, and has found a new and improved way to label part numbers on machine parts making ordering parts easier and more efficient for the customer.

In the past, part numbers were written on the packaging, not the machine parts. Fogg is now laser etching the part numbers into sheet metal, change parts, and in the long term process of adding them to machine parts, so that part numbers are durable and easy to find for the customers.

These part numbers are typically etched in the bottom right hand corner of the parts. This consistent technique makes the etching easy for customers to find and identify the numbers. Fogg has already started implementing this new technique with great success.

When it comes time for a customer to order a part, they can simply look for the part number and call Fogg.

These part numbers are all stored in Fogg’s database and it can connect the part number to the specific assembly on each particular machine. These numbers not only help the customer, but they help Fogg stay organized so that it can have the highest level of efficiency when getting new parts to a customer – all to help decrease downtime as much as possible.

Fogg continues to improve technology and provide the highest level of reliability for production lines.
