“The Innovations Summit was an excellent opportunity to have both suppliers and customers come together and see what’s new with the cold foil process,” says Diversified Graphic Machinery president Michael DeBard.
“A hot topic at the summit was Indexing and how Foildex technology allows you to save foil in the running direction of the sheet,” adds DeBard. “My goal since starting the company in 2000 was to remain constant and consistent; to bring innovative, cost-effective solutions to the market which are backed by a company that is willing and capable to stand behind it.”
DGM also announced that a UV Casting Innovations Summit is planned for the Autumn of 2014 at DGM after the Graph Expo tradeshow, that will focus on UV Cast and Cure with discussions on LED UV lamps vs. standard UV lamps and their respective benefits. Also a round table discussion will be open for customers with the release of the latest cold foil technology.
