At the Labelxpo Americas trade show in Illinois September 13-15, 2016, Bobst will demonstrate how to achieve maximum production levels.

BOBST will present an advanced range of technology and process solutions in printing and converting for the global label industry at Labelexpo Americas in Rosemont, IL, from September 13-15, 2016. also showcasing its extensive range services designed to help users achieve optimum production levels, expand their capacity and succeed in their existing or new markets.

Star of the show at the BOBST booth #5721-5728 in Hall F, is the Digital Flexo process, whose extraordinary performance will be demonstrated on the BOBST M6 mid-web inline UV flexo press (see image above).

The advantages of Digital Flexo—part of the BOBST Digital Automation program— are unique in its ability to make press operation fast, flexible and reliable, allied with a consistently superior quality of the output and the lowest total cost of ownership.

Using news low migration UV curable inks and Digital Flexo automation, BOBST has developed solutions that offer set-up times comparable to digital printing.

Thanks to a fully digitized press operation, the machine can run non-stop, affording on-the fly job changes, creating less than 10 meters of substrate waste and taking only one minute in set-up time.

The technology—unique to BOBST—conforms to the seven-color extended gamut  (ECG) technology promoted by the REVO Team of leading industry partners and boosts the advantages of a production-driven, repeatable and controllable digital process.

ECG is one of several technologies, including digital press automation and standardization of the technology chain, that are the focus of the methodology being developed by the REVO team partners to make available to flexo label and packaging converters off the shelf solutions with a defined protocol of consumable, software and hardware technologies that will enable them to start producing using a “digitized” flexo process. To illustrate the REVO project to Labelexpo visitors, BOBST is dedicating a part of the trade show exhibit to this revolutionary and exciting development.

Visitors to the exhibit space will also be introduced to the very wide and comprehensive range of solutions BOBST offers in the different segments of the label industry.

These include the brand new MW 85F CI flexo press, printing at line screens up to 70 lines/cm and the CL 750D compact laminator, which are especially suited for customers looking for efficiency in short run production, as well as BOBST silicone and adhesive coating solutions and vacuum metallizing solutions for the labelstock industry.

Visitors will also be treated to the visual and tactile experience of the quality of the output printed and converted on BOBST machine through the rich variety of samples that will be available at the Labelexpo stand.
