Elmira Pet improves filling accuracy with new high-speed bagging system

Automation Bagging/Weighing Allen-Bradley PanelView Plus 1500 Elmira Pet Products Thiele UltraStar bagger Thielel Duplex Net Weigh Scales

Elmira Pet Products recently installed a brand new Thiele Ultra Star high-speed, double fill-and-seal bagging system at their 80,000 square foot production facility in Elmira, ON. The system grabs and opens two bags at a time for filling. Filling accuracy is assured by a set of Duplex Net Weigh Scales also by Thiele located above the bagging system. Pre-set weights of kibbles drop into the bags that are opened two at a time, delivering both speed and accuracy to the operation. The UltraStar bagger utilizes an Allen-Bradley PanelView Plus 1500 graphic terminal to facilitate user-friendly operation for line operators.
