Partnering with BOMA, Unisource Worldwide will offer performance consultation services.

Unisource Worldwide, Inc. has partnered with the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International members as a BOMA 360 Ambassador.

The BOMA 360 Performance Program evaluates buildings against industry best practices in six major areas, including building operations and management; energy sustainability; and tenant relations/community involvement. Unisource, headquartered in Norcross, GA with offices around the globe, including Canada, is one of the largest-privately held companies in the U.S., and is a global provider of comprehensive customer solutions including facility supplies and equipment.

As an ambassador of the program, Unisource will provide consultation and help to BOMA program applicants in meeting performance criteria, like green purchasing programs, green cleaning programs, indoor air quality, waste management, and recycling programs.

“In this increasingly competitive marketplace, building owners and managers are constantly seeking ways to differentiate their buildings against other properties, (and a) BOMA 360 designation signals to owners, tenants, and prospective tenants that a building is managed and operated to the highest standards in the industry,” says Unisource senior marketing manager of facility supplies Garrett Gerst.

Continuing, Gerst adds: “Many BOMA 360 recipients have found that the designation is a key factor in attracting new tenants. Recipients also often find operational savings and efficiencies after establishing new management policies or operating procedures.”
