WeighPack’s New Gram Scale For High Accuracy Applications

WeighPack Systems Inc., a leading supplier of a broad range of weighing and packaging solutions for a variety of industries worldwide, has expanded their innovative product line and has developed a highly accurate gram scale that weighs in 1/10th of a gram increments.
Coined the Verita, this gram scale is a highly accurate and sensitive weigher that is designed specifically for small weighments, weight sensitive products such as pharmaceuticals and garden seeds all of which can be weighed within a 1/3rd-gram accuracy.
Using newly developed control logic, load cells and a unique mechanical design, the Verita gram scale achieves high accuracy by mounting the weigh bucket and load cells on a stand separate from the hopper and pans. By separating the load cells, vibrations from the hopper and pans do not interfere with the weigh bucket thus allowing for the most accurate weighments. The weigh bucket is a stand-alone mechanism that is completely isolated from the machine.
Easily interfaced with auxiliary packaging equipment, standard features of the Verita include; detached bucket door opening device, an easy to read articulating control panel with adjustable bulk and dribble settings and “no-weight” calibration.
Available in a single- or twin-lane configuration for increased speed, the Verita is designed with tool-less disassembly for quick washdown and complete stainless steel construction.
