Automation Case Packing Controls/Drives Bradman Lake Group DRT Product Toploader HSS 3-axis servo motor PACK EXPO International 2014 RA90Bradman Lake will demonstrate its new top load packaging line at PackExpo International 2014.
At the Bradman Lake Group booth S-3647 at the Pack Expo International 2014 show held November 2-5, 2014 at Chicago’s McCormick Place, visitors can see the latest solutions for horizontal flow wrapping, multipack wrapping, roll wrapping, carton forming, robotic product top loading, carton closing and case packing equipment.
Bradman Lake Group experts will be available in the booth for consultation and advice regarding suitable equipment solutions.
Equipment exhibited includes a completely integrated top load cartoning system comprising three main machines – all demonstrating its new developments.
The HSS 3-axes servo motor, high-speed carton former will be the latest double head version for erecting cartons with hot melt glue or lock style.
It will represent the new, low profile, machine version which provides a low level motorized carton hopper for easier operator access.
Glue-formed cartons will be automatically transferred to the robotic DRT Product Toploader which will incorporate the newly designed end-of-arm tooling techniques to pick, rotate and place products into cartons so that different layer collation patterns can be created.
Completely filled cartons will then be conveyed into the RA90 (see image above) right angle flexible carton control, lugless, three-flap carton lid closer.
The version demonstrated includes the newly introduced, servo motor driven, lift and descend overhead carton lid control conveyors. These replace the earlier cantilevered design and provide excellent operator access from all sides of the machine and facilitate rapid size change.
