The measurements are performed using radio frequency thermometry technology which measures the equalized temperature rather than the surface or core temperature. Since the measurement does not rely on the positioning of a probe, the Celsius system produces fast, consistent and accurate readings.
These inspection systems can be used for a wide variety of fresh, chilled and frozen packaged or un-packaged products. The measurements are accurate down to +/-0.5C and results are provided in approximately five seconds.
Since the measurements are non-invasive, there is no need to discard of the product once tested which provides fast return of investments by reducing waste. The systems are compliant with all major foods safety programs such as GFSI, HACCP, SQF and BRC.
