Owens-Illinois (O-I) has expanded its Specialty Stock Bottle portfolio with a new top-shelf package—the Imperial. While the new bottle was part of a successful launch of Ron Marques del Valle rum in South America last year, the bottle is now being introduced to North America.
The Imperial features a broad-shouldered frame designed to command a top-shelf presence worthy of preserving the finest spirits and offers a wide label panel allowing high customization of various labeling techniques that gives craft distillers the opportunity to easily differentiate their brands.
“Its dramatic tapering gives the illusion that it is being lifted above other bottles,” says O-I manager of product development and innovation Raul Paredes. “Simply put, there is no other Specialty stock bottle in the market that can match the beauty and proud stature of the Imperial bottle.”
