General cordless nutrunners

The new Rexroth series of cordless nutrunners from Bosch Rexroth AG  provides torque and angle measuring function, integrated control system and wireless interface which greatly increases versatility in the assembly process.

Applications where there are hard-to-reach bolt positions is where this product really excels. At the same time the wireless technology also improves ergonomics in walk-with applications and increases productivity, since workers are not burdened by cables.

The intelligent cordless nutrunners combine wireless technology with the advantages of the proven ErgoSpin nutrunners from Rexroth for all safety-critical connection points of Category A according to VDI2862. Results are stored and can be outputted for documentation purposes. An integrated transmitter securely sends data to the receiving station such as a standard end-user WLAN access point. Control electronics buffer data in the nutrunner in the event of a temporary disconnect and forward it as soon as the network is available again. This ensures that all procedures are fully documented and provides for high traceability as well as playing a key role in process reliability.

Due to the state of the art electronics, the cordless nutrunner from Rexroth can easily be integrated into the existing infrastructure of a production environment. Fully integrated control and performance electronics eliminate the need for a series of components such as tool and communication cables that would otherwise be required. This simplifies the installation and reduces costs. A color display is provided for configuration and worker data directly on the nutrunners.
