The new VS Bagger from WeighPack Systems Inc., a Montreal-headquartered manufacturer of weighing, bagging and conveying equipment, is perhaps the easiest-to-use bagger on the market while still offering exceptional productivity.
Designed for premade, wicketed bags operating at speeds up to 35 cpm (cycles per minute), the VS Bagger automatically draws a bag, waits for the bag to be filled and then transfers it to interface with a horizontal sealer or twist tying machine.
The VS Bagger runs both polyethylene and laminated wicketed bags and can handle bag lengths of 6- to 20-inches and 6- to 14-inches.
Available in both left-to-right and right-to-left configurations, the machine is operator-friendly and easy to set-up. With a heavy duty frame construction, the VS Bagger is designed for quick changeover including adjustable wicket pins.
Several options are available including a plunging funnel, bag shaking to settle the product in the bag, bag support table for heavy bags, and foot pedal for semi-automatic operation.
