New Douglas TriVex RLi transforms pharmaceutical packaging line.

ALEXANDRIA, MN—Douglas Machine Inc. transforms pharmaceutical top load case packing line from a manual operation to a robotic, full automation solution, tripling the throughput.

The TriVex’s robotic loader and end-effector picks and spreads bottles for accurate placement into cases with protective trays.

Within one machine, the TriVex RLi provides case erecting, pocketed bottom and top tray placement, product loading, leaflet insertion, in-line case labeling, and case sealing.
Douglas also assures package quality and verification with the use of product detection and vision systems.
