Classy and classic bottles win two awards for TricorBraun

Design & Innovation cool booze bottles cool packaging design SPEAKeasyTricorBraun takes home a pair of Spirits Packaging awards a the World Beverage Competition.
St. Louis, Mo.—TricorBraun has won a pair of international awards at the 2012-2013 World Beverage Competition.
TricorBraun received the Platinum Best of Show Award in the Spirits Packaging Category for Whisper Creek Tennessee Sipping Cream (see photo to the left), a Tennessee whiskey cream liqueur.
The custom designed 750ml amber glass bottle features a finger loop on the neck and resembles a slender Roaring Twenties (1920’s) jug with a pinched waist.
Canadian Packaging loves the finger loop! While not necessary to pour the contents—it provides the bottle with an authentic look of some old-time hooch!
The complex shape challenged the application of the silk screen and applied ceramic embellishments.
Competition judges noted the bottle is, “Reminiscent of the bygone ‘Golden Era’ of Spirits.”
The customer is SPEAKeasy spirits, Nashville, Tenn.
Spring 44 Vodka has a sleek, classy and elegant design - and that's the key.
As for the second award, a custom-designed vodka bottle—Spring 44—created to mark the opening of an elegant Miami, Florida night club, won the bronze award in the Spirits Packaging Category.
The 750ml bottle features a full, metallic blue shrink sleeve designed to reflect the night club’s bar lights.
The bottle’s presentation includes a house key suspended from its neck to emphasize House Nightclub Miami as the club’s name— although to some the key is highly suggestive of the classic Penthouse men’s magazine symbol – which may indeed be the non-verbal idea.
House Nightclub Miami is TricorBraun’s customer.
