The American Graphic Design Awards is a four-decade old annual competition, and is open to everyone in the graphic arts community ‒ graphic design firms, advertising agencies, in-house corporate and institutional designers, publishers and other media. Each year, roughly 1,000 pieces representing all media are showcased in the printed Design Annual and online here.
Divisions include: Annual & Corporate Reports; Announcements, Invitations & Cards; Advertising; Brochures & Collateral; Calendars; Catalogs; Creative Use of Stock; Direct Mail; Editorial Design; Identity Design; Internet Design; Multimedia & Broadcast Design; Pop, Displays, Sign Design & Environmental Graphics; Posters; Public Service & Pro Bono Projects; Sales Promotion; Students; and, of course, Packaging.
