UPS officially opened its new state-of-the-art distribution centre in Alberta on February 22.

The new $30-million DC is located at Calgary International Airport. It was designed to give local businesses enhanced access to a variety of international markets via UPS’s air and ground services.

The project has been in the works since 2007 and will contribute to the city’s growing transportation and logistics sector.
