By Canadian Packaging staff

If someone from Germany is offering you “hot” chocolate on the cheap, chances are it’s part of the 20 tons of chocolate and Nutella stolen from a truck on August 15, 2017.
Police in Neustadt, Germany believe the confections stolen over the weekend could be worth upward of $80,000, according to German newspaper Deutsche Welle.
As a side note, this past weekend another trailer disappeared from Wittenberg, Germany, holding some 30 tons of fruit juice.

And yes, this is a real story.
