Rexam Beverage Can North America (BCNA), a global leader in consumer packaging, recently announced it has appointed Steve Wirrig to the position of managing director of its Primary Packaging and Prescription business within its Plastic Packaging sector. He will work out of Perrysburg, Ohio, the head office of Primary Packaging and Prescription.

Wirrig joined BCNA in 2003 as head of marketing, playing an instrumental role in the sectorís focus on profitable growth and the commercialization of innovative specialty can sizes.  He was promoted to BCNA vice-president of sales and marketing last year, leading the commercial efforts to effectively balance capacity and demand and improve margins.
