Propurchaser: Grains edge downward

After some recent volatility, prices in grain categories edged downward on August 10.

Corn for September delivery closed down 9.5 cents (2.4 percent) at $3.9350 per bushel in Chicago, pulled lower by falling wheat prices.

Wheat for September delivery lost 17.75 cents (2.5 percent) to close at $6.9475 per bushel.

In Kansas City, September wheat fell 7.5 cents to close at $7.1250 per bushel.

In Minneapolis, it dropped nine cents to close at $7.0525 per bushel.
