General Paper & Paperboard Packaging Environmental Council PPEC

The Paper & Paperboard Packaging Environmental Council (PPEC) is the national association representing Canada’s paper packaging industry on environmental issues. The council, which is this year celebrating 20 years of leadership in environmental and sustainability issues across Canada, is looking for an energetic self-starter to take over the helm as Executive Director.

Preferred applicants will need to demonstrate working knowledge of environmental policy issues impacting the paper packaging industry today, and superior verbal and written communication skills for both public and internal purposes. Close interaction with the membership and its various affiliations and alliances is crucial. The successful candidate will report to the current Executive Director for a transitional period and then directly to a full board of senior industry executives.

Remuneration will be commensurate with experience. PPEC is an equal opportunity employer. The council’s offices are located in Brampton, Ontario.

For background, applicants are directed to the PPEC website www.ppec-paper.com and the Why PPEC Matters brochure, and/or to John Mullinder, the current Executive Director at ppec@ppec-paper.com or 905-458-0087.
