PMMI names new vice-president

RESTON, VA—PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, has announced the promotion of Andrew Dougherty to vice-president of Member Services.
Dougherty, who joined the staff in 2012, spearheads member engagement and recruitment efforts.
“Andrew plays an important role in not only building awareness among member companies about our offerings, but also in showing them how these programs can benefit their business,” says PMMI president and chief executive officer Charles D. Yuska.
PMMI provides great value to its more than 700 members, and according to Dougherty, the face-to-face opportunities may be the most beneficial.
“The intelligence sharing and networking that take place at PMMI meetings are powerful. Time and time again members tell me that PMMI gives them privileged access to people, places and information they can’t get anywhere else,” Dougherty says.
