PMMI‘s Board of Directors met April 18, 2010 in Tucson, AZ for its Executive Leadership Conference and added 15 new companies to the PMMI membership. PMMI is a trade association with more than 560 member companies that manufacture packaging, processing and related converting machinery, commercially-available packaging machinery components, containers and materials in the U.S. and Canada.
The new members feature applicants in all four membership categories: two processing members, seven new general members, two materials members and four new supplier members.
"We look forward to the active participation of our 15 new members. I’m confident PMMI will benefit as much from their capabilities and expertise as they will benefit from PMMI’s broad range of member services,” says PMMI president and chief executive officer Chuck Yuska.

Air Logic Power Systems LLC, a Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based company manufactures inspection and leak detection machinery;
FoxJet An ITW Company, headquartered in St. Charles, Missouri, manufactures labeling and coding machines;
Hughes Company Inc. of Columbus, Wisc., builds conveyor and filling machinery;
Kirk Rudy, Inc. of Woodstock, Ga. manufactures feeding and labeling machinery;
Kolinahr Systems, Inc. is a Cincinnati, OH-based manufacturer of stacking and labeling machinery;
Newmapak Ltd. of Candiac, Que. manufactures conveyor machinery;
Specialty Equipment Co., Inc. of Houston manufactures filling machinery.
Supplier Members
Control Techniques from Eden Prairie, Minn.) manufactures engineered drive systems;
Hitachi America, Ltd. of Tarrytown, NY manufactures ink jet printers;
Panasonic Electric Works Corp. of America located in New Providence, NJ, manufactures PLCs, HMIs and servos;
Anderson Instrument Co. of Fultonville, NY manufactures components for processing and packaging solutions.
Materials Members
Orbis Corporation of Oconomowoc, Wisc. is a container distributor;
Temple-Inland Inc. of Austin, Texas is a packaging converter.
Processing Members
Idaho Steel Products Inc. from Meridan, Idaho manufactures conveying machinery for processing applications; and
Allpax Products, LLC of Covington, Lousianna manufactures sterilizer machines.
