PAC WSIB Safety Board gets new coordinator

The PAC - The Packaging Association has announced the resignation of Nicki Dryburgh as coordinator of its PAC WSIB safety group. Dryburgh, who is staying on until the end of December to assist with year-end reports, was responsible for helping each member firm achieve a remarkable decline in accidents and subsequently receive a substantial rebate for their efforts.

The PAC – The Packaging Association has announced the resignation of Nicki Dryburgh as coordinator of its PAC WSIB safety group. Dryburgh, who is staying on until the end of December to assist with year-end reports, was responsible for helping each member firm achieve a remarkable decline in accidents and subsequently receive a substantial rebate for their efforts.

In her stead, is Evan Anthony, a former WSIB officer, who was the WSIB representative to the PAC safety group for its first three years.

Anthony also has a wealth of experience in terms of helping safety groups, helping establish and run the safety group for the Retail Council of Canada for four years.

During Anthony’s years at WSIB, he coordinated the activities of several industry safety groups involved in manufacturing, construction and service industries. He trained WSIB management and front line staff on prevention principals and strategies as well as administered WSIB quality assurance and program approvals for third party prevention vendors.
