New leader for Flint Group

Flint Group, headquartered in Luxembourg, has announced that Daniel F. McDowell has been appointed as president of the global Packaging & Narrow Web division effectively on February 1, 2011.

Flint Group, headquartered in Luxembourg, has announced that Daniel F. McDowell has been appointed as president of the global Packaging & Narrow Web division effectively on February 1, 2011.

McDowell will also join Flint Group’s executive management team and will report directly to Antoine Fady, chief executive officer.

Staring in the ink industry in 1990 with Color Converting Industries, he joined Flint Group from Siegwerk Druckfarben AG having been president of global operations, having previously run Siegwerk’s North American business for six years.

His international experience and track record in the packaging Ink industry will be a major asset to further drive our focus and performance in this critical sector. Dan’s appointment is also an essential step to the strengthening of the Flint Group management team and the ongoing successful development of the Flint Group,” remarks Antoine Fady.

Flint Group’s global Packaging and Narrow Web division offers a wide range of inks and coatings used for packaging and label printing, including conventional and UV (ultra violet) curing flexo inks and gravure inks for wide web packaging printing – as well as UV curing narrow web inks for flexographic, lithographic, letterpress and screen printing.
