New deal for Digi-Key

Digi-Key Corporation has inked an expanded distribution agreement with Panasonic Electric Works Corporation of America (PEWA).

The deal will allow Digi-Key to distribute PEWA’s products in the Asia-Pacific territories in addition to existing franchises for the Americas, Japan, Hong Kong, China and Taiwan.

Digi-Key distributes more than 1,400 PEWA products, including connectors, relays, sensors and switches.

Steve Cummins, PEWA’s general manager, marketing, said the deal will expand his company’s presence across Asia.

“Digi-Key is an important partner in our sales network, giving design engineers easy access to Panasonic components,” he said.
