The New York-based Multi Packaging Solutions (MPS)–a print, packaging and merchandising provider for the cosmetics, healthcare, horticulture and multi-media markets–has set up a strategic partnership with ZOO Digital that expands MPS’s digital-asset management capabilities to include global reach for multinational brands.
Purchasing a 9.1 per cent stake in ZOO for US$1.3 million, MPS is intrigued by its artworking software that integrates language translation, localization, proofing, global collaboration, version control and archiving. The software simplifies logo and copy replacement across all brand assets, ensuring consistent brand identity.
"ZOO’s unique software provides a perfect extension to our full service print and packaging offering, enabling us to help our customers significantly enhance the efficiencies of global product packaging development,” comments Marc Shore, chief executive officer of Multi Packaging Solutions. “We are excited to be working with ZOO in a strategic partnership that we expect will generate significant opportunities for both companies."
Adds Stuart Green, chief executive officer of ZOO: "Our technology is relevant to any company that distributes in multiple territories and languages.
“The combination of our front-end digital asset management capabilities with Multi Packaging Solutions’ unparalleled print and packaging capabilities offers multinational customers a turnkey solution for managing global brands.”
