Layfield’s Growing Product Range

General Layfield Group Limited Vision Packaging Ltd.

Richmond, B.C.-headquartered industrial plastics and fabrics conglomerate Layfield Group Limited has completed the acquisition of Vision Packaging Ltd., Richmond-based packaging manufacturer specializing in laminated rollstock and stand-up pouch packaging, as well as pressure- sensitive labels.

According to Layfield, the newly-acquired operating assets will be integrated with those of the company’s Layfield Poly Films Ltd. subsidiary in Richmond, a prominent manufacturer of monolayer and co-extruded films and plastic packaging products, with the merged companies soon to operate under the revamped corporate banner of Layfield Vision Packaging.

“We at Layfield are looking forward to the opportunities that will be created as a result of the Vision Packaging acquisition,” states Layfield Group’s president and chief executive Tom Rose. “This exciting venture will open up the possibility of offering new and existing customers new packaging products encompassing a full range of film, printing and converting capabilities.”
