Acquisition will strengthen H.B. Fuller's global market in industrial adhesives and synthetic polymers.

H.B. Fuller Company, headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota, has an agreement to purchase the global industrial adhesives and synthetic polymers business of the Forbo Group in Switzerland.

The move will strengthen H.B. Fuller and in turn enable us to offer additional opportunities and greater benefits for you, our valued customer.

Recognized as a leader in the adhesives industry, Forbo is a highly respected supplier of products in many of H.B. Fuller’s core market segments, particularly packaging and durable assembly. Forbo’s industrial adhesives business also is a top supplier in several markets in which H.B. Fuller does not currently participate, including VAE polymers, automotive interiors and engineered textiles with reactive hot melts.

In addition to increasing H.B. fuller’s scope, the acquisition provides it access to new technology, enhances its workforce and extends its geographic presence, most notably in Europe and China.
