HARTING’s world-class connectivity products are now available through Heilind Electronics.

ELGIN, IL—HARTING Americas and Heilind Electronics have a distribution agreement—announced recently at Heilind’s headquarters in Wilmington, MA. In the image above, Heilind Electronics president Alan Clapp (left) and HARTING Americas president and chief executive officer Jon DeSouza solidify the partnership.

Both companies expressed their excitement with the agreement and their expectations for the future.

HARTING will provide Heilind’s customers with its world-class connectivity solutions. Heilind will, in turn, increase HARTING’s growth even more through their online sales and industry presence.

Present at the event was a selection of HARTING’s world-class connectivity products that Heilind customers can now purchase through the distributor.

Some highlighted products were the company’s industry leading rectangular connectors, including the Han-Modular series, which allows the combination of multiple medias in a single connection point, the quick and easy to install HARTING PushPull, the expansive M8, M12, and 7/8” cordset portfolio, among others.

In other news, HARTING Americas provided access to watch a 10-minute appearance of Jon DeSouza on World Wide Business with Kathy Ireland.

The interview was aired on January 15, 2017 on Fox Business Network, and will be broadcast globally on various Bloomberg channels later this week.

The interview focuses on critical topics in manufacturing, such as:

  • Reshoring and challenges associated;
  • How to increase productivity and reliability;
  • The future of connectivity;
