Executive Board changes at Krones AG

Executive Board shuffle at Krones.

Volker Kronseder (left, on image above), chairman of the Executive Board of Krones AG, has decided not to renew his contract, which expires on December 31, 2015.

Kronseder, 61, has been a member of the beverage filling and packaging technology leader’s Executive Board since 1989 and has served as chairman of the Executive Board since 1996.

He still wishes to contribute to the company’s successful development, and has says he is available to stand for election to the Supervisory Board of Krones AG in the ordinary annual shareholders’ meeting in 2016.

The new chairman of the Executive Board of Krones AG will be Christoph Klenk (right, on image above), effective January 1, 2016.

Klenk, 51, has been with KRONES AG since 1994. After serving in leadership positions in sales for the Asia-Pacific region, Klenk was appointed to the Executive Board in 2003. Until 2011, he was the Executive Board Member responsible for Research & Development and Product Divisions. He has been the Executive Board Member responsible for Finance (CFO) at Krones AG since 2012.

The Supervisory Board has appointed an external candidate to succeed Klenk as CFO, but the name and starting date have not yet been disclosed.
