Elanders acquires UK specialty packaging business

General Elanders Sverige AB specialty packaging copmpany acquisition Spreckley Limited

Spreckley Limited to be purchased by Swedish company specializing in the supply of integrated solutions in the areas supply chain management, print & packaging and e-commerce.

SWEDEN—Elanders Sverige AB of Sweden has signed an agreement to acquire all the shares in Spreckley Limited, a Nottingham, U.K.-based company which provides highly specialized and customized packaging, point-of-sale material and labels for the British market.

For the 12 months period that ended on March 31, 2017, Spreckley reported net sales of approximately GBP 2.3 million (~CDN $3.75-million). The company employs around 20 people and will be consolidated in the business area Print & Packaging Solutions of Elanders.
