D&W Fine Pack acquires thermoforming division of Clear Lam Packaging

South Carolina food packaging company increases its presence in the grocery market segment.

D&W Fine Pack LLC, a leader in the food packaging industry located in Fountain Inn, SC, has announced it has acquired the thermoforming division of Elk Grove Village, IL-based Clear Lam Packaging, Inc.

Terms of the deal were no disclosed.

Clear Lam provides innovative packaging solutions for customers in the bakery, prepared meals, confectionary, and produce segments.

With the acquisition of Clear Lam, D&W’s presence in the retail grocery market segment is significantly increased.

With facilities in Elk Grove Village, Vernon, CA, and Nanjing, China, Clear Lam compliments D&W’s existing North American manufacturing asset footprint adding a manufacturing plant in Asia, opening up opportunities for continued growth both in NA and the Pacific Rim.

This latest acquisition now provides D&W with 16 manufacturing and warehousing facilities around the world.
